I think it is great to simplify tech, but this is really an oversimplification of Second Life. I like to say that it is a three dimensional virtual world that operates more like a social network than a game. Users or "residents" are given the power to build and create, buy and sell, as well as friend others and form groups. People conduct legitimate business in Second Life, some even making thousands of dollars US per month selling virtual clothing, furniture and other products. You can also attend live events in Second Life including music concerts, art gallery openings, panels, classes and discussions.
